International singing star Daniel O'Donnell recently added another dimension to his already successful career by becoming a songwriter. A couple of months ago Marc and Daniel took time out from their busy schedules and co-wrote two songs, both of which are featured on Daniels new album 'Live, Laugh, Love' (Rosette Records CD2002). The showbiz pals are planning to spend some more time writing in the future. They performed one of the songs, 'I will think of you', on 'Open House', R.T.E. television on Monday 10th to coincide with Daniel's 40th birthday and Marc was also a special guest at Daniel's official party on Wednesday 12th of December 2001 in Birmingham. This event was a fundraiser for the Romanian Orphanage appeal. A charity set up by Daniel a couple of years ago.
Marc & Daniel recently got together again to write more songs for Daniel's new album which was released in October, 2002. The album was recorded in July when he returned from touring in Australia & New Zealand. It features the songs 'Tonight Will Never Happen Again', Then The World Will Know' & the title track 'Yesterday's Memories' (Rosette CD2020) all co-written by Daniel & Marc.
