Daniel O'Donnell presents Marc with platinum disc on behalf of IRMA

On Saturday night 23rd July last in Leisureland, Galway, Daniel O'Donnell invited Marc on stage, as he normally does in Galway. He sang 'Annie's Song' by John Denver. Daniel then joined him on stage & they sang the first song they'd ever written together called 'I will think of you', from the album 'Live, laugh, love'. In all Daniel has recorded 14 of Marc's co-writes. Nine of which appeared on the 'Until the next time' album. One of the songs 'Crush on you', which Marc included on his present album 'The Promise', was released as a single by Daniel & went straight into the U.K. Pop singles chart at 21.

The album went on to sell in excess of 100,000 copies here in Ireland & the same in other territories including U.K., U.S. & Australia.

When they had finished singing the duet, Daniel presented Marc, on behalf of IRMA (Irish Recorded Music Association), the platinum disc for his songwriting input to the album. Needless to say Marc was thrilled & honoured!
