Marc was
selected as one of the final six songs in the bid to represent Ireland
in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Marc, of course, is no
stranger to the competition after representing Ireland in 1997 & coming
a credible second with "Mysterious Woman". Incidentally it's the
last credible result achieved by Ireland in the competition. After
10 years of not featuring in the results a decision was made to review
the rules.
The song Marc performed was also written by himself. Called
"Chances", it's an up-tempo, feel good pop song. It was performed in 6th position on the night.....the final
song!
